Pollution-free solar power pumps billions of dollars into the country’s economy every year. In 2020, the solar industry generated more than $25 billion of investment in the American economy. The Mill Point Solar I Project will bring a long-term economic boost to Montgomery County and the Town of Glen by creating new family wage jobs and providing long-term tax revenue, which could total tens of millions of dollars over the life of the project. Further, the Mill Point Solar I Project will generate enough clean energy to power more than 65,000 homes in New York State annually.
